Global Technology Risk Management (GTRM) is the team responsible for securing Information Assets at a global level by providing services and solutions. The role of this position is to develop and deploy repeatable and scalable project management processes and tools and communication protocols to support the rollout of GTRM risk management services.


The IT Program and Portfolio Lead reporting to the Director of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) will work in close collaboration with peer groups across GTRM and peers and leadership within other Corporate functions and Brands.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management

• Develop and implement project management capabilities and reporting processes for non-project IT security and risk managers

• Develop and refine project roadmap initiatives as we continue the transition to a service delivery organization

• Partner with the GTRM Directors to ensure that projects are aligned with the organizational roadmap, including resources, delivery timelines and spend

• Developing strong and productive relationships with all business leaders, ensuring that GTRM is positioned as a business enabler and trusted services partner

• Promote good practices and standardization of approach for requirements definition, evaluation of technology solution options, and program delivery activities

• Lead key strategic initiatives as identified by GTRM leadership, ensuring appropriate program and project management staffing for these initiatives

• Develop and manage communications and messages to a wide stakeholder network that articulates the nature and purpose of system/process changes

Portfolio Management

• Enable strategic business-GTRM alignment by leading the governance of GTRM projects and spend; includes establishment of timely reporting on key project delivery and resource management metrics

• Maintain oversight of all GTRM programs, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored, and reported

• Help define project priorities and risks for enterprise-wide GTRM initiatives to maximize the return on investment

• Ensure projects have appropriate documentation, including a solid business case that includes time, resource and cost estimates, a project plan with key milestones and appropriate status reporting

• Provide transparency and enable collaboration between the GTRM organization and its business partners

• Establish tools, templates and processes to build project management capability within the GTRM organization

Process Improvement

• Develop and implement project management process improvements, including, but not limited to reporting tools (TRR, Flash, etc); develop and promote adoption of new process improvements

• Assist in problem-solving on related topics between different GTRM departments and vendors

Communication and Organizational Change Management

• Prepare communications and other messages that articulate the nature and purpose of system/process changes

• Engage Corporate Communications and other stakeholders to support refinement, review and ultimately timely delivery of communications to end-users

• Establish tools, templates and processes to develop change management capability within the GTRM organization

Program Portfolio Management

• Experience leading complex major change initiatives

• Demonstrated skills in change management

• Excellent program management skills

• Must have experience leading systems implementations to a successful conclusion

• Must have a clear understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)

Professional Experience and Education

• 5+ Years Project and Program Management

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field (advanced degree desirable)

• Experience managing complex system development and IT implementation projects (e.g., ERP, digital, etc.)

• PMP Certification is highly desired

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong time management and problem-solving skills

• Must have a strong leadership track record, both formally and via cross-functional influence

• Must have the ability to serve as a change agent and influence business direction
