Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experiences (Minimum Requirements): The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years working with and supporting web applications, while possessing the knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to carry out all aspects of the Web Administrator job. The successful candidate will have direct experience in the following areas: • 3 to 5 years experience administering application server technologies in either a Linux or Windows server environment. • 2 to 3 years experience administering either JAVA or .NET applications on Oracle WebLogic Server or Microsoft IIS. • 2 to 3 years experience in installing, administering, and troubleshooting CA SiteMinder and LDAP technologies. • Working knowledge of web security technologies and best practices. • Perl / Bash / Korn / or Powershell Scripting experience a plus. Preferred but not required: • Experience with Apache HTTP server. • Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM appliances • Experience with IBM MQSeries. Additional Skills: • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Working knowledge about computer hardware and software systems Education Preferred: Bachelors in Computer Engineering , Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business or technical equivalent
• The Enterprise/Web administrator supports multiple technologies on both Unix and Windows based platforms. • Supported technologies include Oracle Weblogic Server, Apache HTTP server, and F5 Big-IP LTM appliances. • Primary duties include the installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle WebLogic Server. • Additional duties include the support and configuration of web servers and load balancers, process documentation, task automation, and performing client work requests. • Production support, including off-hours as needed to ensure the service availability and be part of 24/7 on-call support.
