Qualifications:

- Knowledge of basic computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, CIS). - Knowledge of basic math with decimals and fractions. - Skill in relating interpersonally and communicate effectively orally and in writing with internal and external customers. - Ability to multi-task and work in stressful situations. - Ability to communicate clear instructions and evaluate results. - Ability to write legibly. - Ability to handle complaints and problems with minimal supervision. -Ability to type a min. of 40wpm.

Responsibilities:

To schedule, organize, coordinate and dispatch work assignments for system-wide field operations on a daily basis. Responsibilities include: - Maintain and distribute daily workload, monitor workload and dispatch emergency orders to field personnel for QGC system-wide operations. - Dispatch service orders by priority, date and time wanted. - Issues and completes service orders. Generates appropriate orders and paper work for service line changes and main extensions. Adds and verifies service point address and customer premise characteristics. Coordinates service orders with operations field employees. Pre-assigns service orders on the dispatch system and resolves errors in orders, addresses and service lines. Looks up accounts for operations technicians and answers questions. Confirms and verifies information with city and county building officials - Handle call center requests for meter sets. Assist Pre-Construction personnel with processing of commercial and residential meter sets. - Receive, document and distribute Blue Stake requests using the on-line system. - Receive and relay messages among customers, field personnel and internal departments. - Coordinate High Pressure department activities with customer requests for line locations and excavation projects. - Schedules industrial meter work. Manage city clearances for meter sets. - Manage Salt Lake Region inspector work. - Assign work areas for operations technicians and inspectors. Maintain accurate on-call personnel - Reconcile contractor invoices and compliance. - Organize, maintain and file DOT records - Perform miscellaneous duties including: answering questions on department functions and services, maintaining filing system, telephone screening, time entry and mail delivery. May require on-call, shift work, weekend, and/or holiday work for project completion.
