Qualifications:

Experience in programming or systems analysis desired. Education Bachelors preferred Discipline Engineering, IT, Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, this fully competent role formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts. Works with an individual business unit in a multi-platform environment on multiple project assignments. Requires guidance in complex problem areas, errors may cause minor delay, expense and disruption. Requirements • Experience working with applications in an Oracle environment • Possess strong knowledge and ability to read/write Oracle SQL queries and stored procedure coding and tuning • Proven experience working with and reading log files for troubleshooting • Proven experience with debugging and monitoring applications on a multi-platform environment • Proven experience in functional and technical architecture, design and development, testing, and system integration • Ability to write detailed Technical Specifications from Business Requirements and Effectively communicate with Business Clients and Developers • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a cross disciplinary, fast paced environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, SharePoint) • Presentation skills, system networking, good problem solving and troubleshooting skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills are required • Knowledge of development methodologies and tool sets (.NET, VB, C#), database platforms (Oracle/SQL Server, Linux), web platforms (IIS, Apache, .NET, Adobe Flex, Javascript, HTML), client platforms (Citrix, Windows OS) Required to be part of an after-hours support On Call Rotation
