Role open for 3 weeks. Backfill for someone who retired.

The resumes aren’t bad, just the story behind them is (ie candidates from West Coast that won't meet the meeting schedule or lack of skill and high $$)

No one internally has applied

Remote, but must be regional (~125 miles)

The position description, as written today, is below. One key piece of information not shown in the description is that TriHealth is in the process of migrating off of IBM’s WebSphere (now IIB) as a foundational product running on AIX servers, to Corepoint ( running on Windows Server 2016. This position, as envisioned, will not only be a programmer on the system, but likely the main administrator for that product. Corepoint heavily uses MS SQL 2016 and its associated availability group functionality, including some OS patching (most of the server-based admin functions will be carried out by another group within TriHealth\ in our environment to provide integration to our patient systems from our Epic EMR.

The ideal candidate would have both WebSphere and Corepoint experience, along with SQL and Windows Server (preferably admin) experience, be reasonably local (within a two county radius) to Cincinnati, and be available to start in a mid-July timeframe. Relocation is not currently planned for this position but may be considered for exceptional candidates.

This is a work-from-home opportunity, and will eventually require 24x7 on-call support rotations, typically once/month. There will also be additional scheduled on-site requirements:

  • at least once/month in Montgomery for group meetings (typically 2-4 hours);
  • once/quarter in Norwood for department meetings (typically 1.5-2 hours);
  • once every two months early Sunday mornings (typically midnight to ~5AM) for scheduled maintenance work; and
  • occasional project-based meetings at the discretion of the project manager and Solution Leader – typically 4-8 times/year.

All of the on-sites listed above are expected of all Team Members, not just this position.

I am willing to at least review candidates who are not at a “senior” level, but may require additional training to meet the candidate ideals.

I am willing to discuss CTH, but not pure contractor candidates.

I would appreciate it if you could review the job description, as it is, below and contact me back if you have any questions and/or have any candidates in mind. Please bear in mind that this position is already being advertised on our website as well as a few other job boards, at the discretion of TriHealth HR.
