• The Business Analytics (BA) team is a lean, cross-functional team that supports different business units in the Sales & Marketing organization: Sales, Fleet, TCUV, Vehicle Marketing and Communications, Incentives, Media, Digital Marketing, and other teams. The Business Analytics team aims to gather and stitch together data from disparate sources, provide centralized, easy-to-use tools used to access it, consult on data analytics, and help generate insights that enable faster data-driven business decisions.

    Preferred

    • 5+ years of product experience with a history of delivering successful products across the full product lifecycle.
    • Understand customer interactions and events across a variety of channels at Toyota to better understand customer journeys and friction points at an aggregated and granular level
    • Identify, develop, and deliver core product recommendation engine based on customer journey touchpoints
    • Further develop and evaluate KPIs, keeping leadership aware of analytics and data summaries.
    • Help provide strategic guidance, insight and knowledge about market trends, consumer attitudes, competitors and the success of the digital marketing strategy.
    • Ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way; “tell a story” with data
    • Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing sharp insights and conclusions, often for executives
    • Partner closely and collaborate with data management teams, strategy teams, and other analytics resources across multiple functional teams
    • 2+ years of experience doing hands-on data analysis and providing data driven insights
    • Experience with Business Intelligence and analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx etc.
    • Self-sufficiency in querying and extracting data from Enterprise databases (SQL, Hive, Google Cloud Platform etc.)
    • Master’s degree
    • Basic knowledge of Big Data platforms: Hadoop, Hive, Impala, AWS, Google BigQuery, Snowflake
