Qualifications:

§ Proficiently performs assignments having the knowledge, skills and abilities and experience needed to carry out all aspects of the job exercises independent judgment and decision-making in planning, organizing and conducting work assignments.

§ May receive instructions and guidance on unusual or complex problems and knows when to get others involved effectively utilizes the proper resources to develop solutions

§ Devise new approaches encountered in work assignments identifies and eliminates unnecessary work and non-value added activities


Education: Bachelor’s degree required


Responsibilities:

This individual will have the following duties:

§ Partner with recruiters and business unit leaders on identifying best practice recruiting/sourcing techniques.

§ Leverage social media by creatively marketing job opportunities.

§ Conduct Boolean searches to mine for resumes in databases such as Indeed and LinkedIn.

§ Engage with passive candidates by sending direct communications to notify them of opportunities or obtain leads.

§ Partner with other sourcing specialists to support LinkedIn job slots, to post positions in an effective manner to attract job seekers and drive talent to the company

§ Maintain a pipeline of skilled talent, including consistent communication with prospective candidates and connecting them with positions that align with their experience and skill set.

§ Keep abreast of current practices related to recruiting and staffing.

§ Analyze and report on recruitment trends.

§ Work with HR Business Engagement to coordinate various matters in relation to recruitment. Counsel hiring managers on issues such as recruiting trends, industry best practices and diversity.

§ May be involved with relationship strategy and recruiting from colleges and universities, technical and vocational schools, military institutions and job fairs.

§ Partners closely with HR Business Engagement and business leadership to develop and execute a cost effective recruiting strategy that is consistent with business goals.

§ Collaborates with management to understand their staffing needs, business issues and job requirements.

§ Utilizes numerous sourcing channels to develop an appropriate qualified and diverse candidate pool.

§ Ensures that all recruitment and selection efforts are consistent with all relevant policies and are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations. 

§ Utilizes electronic sites and databases to source for candidates; evaluates and screens candidates; conducts phone interviews; works with Staffing Administrator to schedule face-to-face interviews and testing, if applicable; works with field HR and hiring manager to develop appropriate offers and follows up with unsuccessful candidates. 

§ Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.

§ Works with HR Business Engagement to coordinate various matters in relation to recruitment. Counsels hiring managers on issues such as recruiting trends, industry best practice and diversity.

§ May be involved with relationship strategy and recruiting from colleges and universities, technical and vocational schools, military institutions and job fairs.

§ May be involved with pre-employment testing processes, administration of relocation policy and staffing systems requirements.

§ Keeps abreast of current practices related to recruiting and staffing.
